Harmful Effects and Consequences of Drug Abuse

1. Drugs are a moment of pleasure.
2. Drugs destroy you, your family, life and future
3. not only destroy your life but your family’s life and all those people that love you.
4. No way you can escape from drugs.
5. It makes you believe that you will forget about your problems and that you will have a perfect life.
6. People place their hopes on you but you just keep letting down.
7. It drives the people you love to the edge of despair.
8. You get your friend to do drugs.
9. One shot and one mistake can lead you to prison.
10. A normal life only exists in your dreams.

In this video I saw what drugs can do to you. Drugs can destroy you and your family without you knowing. I've learned that drugs bring bad consequences to your life; drugs destroy everything you have in the world. Drugs can kill you even if you only try it ones, that’s why it’s better if you never drugs and you stay away from them.  I promise I will never do drugs in my life not even ones. One more thing DON'T USE Drugs or MESS with Drugs.

Reflection: I believe this means that when you get enough sleep, tour brain and body feels healthy and smart. And you feel smart you do great in school or in work.  Getting enough sleep is important because you are more active and aware of thing and what is happening. When you don’t get enough sleep you feel sleepy and tried and isn’t aware of anything.  
Oriental Medicine Doctor
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oriental medicine practitioners use forms of acupuncture and treatment through the Chinese of “qi,” which means energy. Oriental medicine treats a variety of ailments including headaches, back pain, arthritis, or other illnesses by identifying patterns of imbalance within a body’s energy levels and working to readjust fluids or tissues in order to keep the body in balance and relieve pain. Oriental medicine techniques include acupuncture, cupping, acupressure, and herbal supplements that are applied to specific body parts or tissues. Practitioners must be able to evaluate a patient’s symptoms and identify what organs or tissues are causing the ailment, and come up with a customized plan that incorporates oriental herbs and practices into a treatment.

Average Salary: $61,000 per year

Educational Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and certification. Education and training requirements vary state to state for becoming an oriental medicine practitioner. Some practitioners are licensed to be a physician’s assistant and then take classes to become certified in oriental medicine. Most practitioners earn a Bachelor’s degree in biology or another medical related field, then go on to fill state requirements for practicing oriental medicine. Most states require students to work as an intern or apprentice for a specific number of hours in order to qualify for certification, and then have them take an examination to become certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Most training is obtained during an internship or apprenticeship, and many students who work as intern often get hired in as a full-time practitioner once their certification is obtained.

I need start off by eating healthy and do exercise but also maintain a healthy body.  I also need to limit my food like for example my carbs. Sodium, and the fat that is in my food.

Reflection: I believe this means that health should be the most important thing in your life. Because health is the most valuable possession because if your healthy many things can happen to you. Health is very important in your life.  

Sports Medicine Doctor
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sports physicians can be either primary care doctors or orthopedic surgeons. Their patients are predominantly athletes, and their focus is on promoting and wellness. Completion of a medical degree and residency program are required to work in the field.  Sport physicians treat musculoskeletal injuries that occur as a result of participation in sports, such as knee and shoulder injuries, ankle sprains, head injuries, tendinitis and fractures.  They may also help athletes with psychological or substance abuse issues related to sports. Sports physicians counsel athletes, helping them maximize performance, prevent injuries and lead a healthy lifestyle. They may suggest supplements, diet plans or exercise regimens to address performance issues. They may also help athletes with psychological or substance abuse issues related to sports. Sports physicians collaborate with physical therapists, athletic trainers and other healthcare professionals to plan courses of treatment and rehabilitation for their patients.

Average Salary: $184,820-$200,000

Educational Requirements:

They must take medical school and training school for least 2 years. Doctors may take an exam to earn board certification in their chosen specialty. The next step is to complete a 1-2 year fellowship in either sports medicine or surgical sports medicine.
