Duties and Responsibilities:

Pharmacist combines or prepares prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other practitioners. They review these prescriptions to validate their accuracy and then prepare the medicines. This brings in weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs.

Average Salary: $33,000-$51,000

Educational Requirements:

Students in high school should take the most challenging courses in English, science, and math. Pharmacists must graduate from a college of pharmacy. Most require to take the Pharmacy College Admission Test and with two years of pre-pharmacy education.
