Occupational Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Occupational Therapy help patients who are mentally, emotionally, or physically disable to perform daily living and self-care skills. They work in hospitals, homes, and rehabilitation center or at adults’ daycare centers.

Average Salary: $12,000-$15,000 (Occupational Therapy Aides)

$17,000-$26,000(Occupational Therapy Assistants)

Educational Requirements:

Students must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. They must complete a two year training program that includes clinical experience. They must pass a national examination to qualify.

I would not like to be one because I’m not interested.

I have accomplished some goals but I want to accomplish all my goals. One of my goals that I have accomplished was doing my homework. I have been doing all my homework for all my classes and on time. My goal is get straight A's and the only way to accomplish it is by doing my homework.

Nursing Home Administrators directs operations of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.  Most work in nursing homes, but some work for large corporations that control many facilities.

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English. The state requires having at least a bachelor’s degree. They should pass a comprehensive examination.

I have a lot of goals i have accomplish some of them and others i haven't. i want to accomplish all my goals because my goals are like my life to set. Without goals i have no life and in order to have a life you need to set golas and need to accomplish them.Goals are important in your life.

Nuclear Medicine Technologists prepare and administer radioactive substances to detect and treat disease. Their work is to perform in specializing in hospitals departments, clinics, or laboratories.

Educational Requirements:

Students in high school should take the most challenging courses in science, math, and English. Associate and bachelor’s degree in colleges and universities courses in training in safety, radiation procedures, physical science, and computer technicians. I would not like to be one because im not interested.

Glenn Cunningham

Glenn Cunningham was a man who never gave up. Glenn was in a fire at 8 years old, his legs were badly burn. The doctors had said that he might not ever walk again and if he did he wouldn’t walk normally. He couldn’t move his feet. He had positive attitude, he didn’t let himself fall. He became the world’s record runner, he ran a mile in 4:04:4. I really admire him for never giving up and for not letting himself fall. There will be a man like Glenn Cunningham. Gleen Cunningham is someone who be admire and never forgotten, he always had hope and faith no matter what.

Reflection: This means that when you have a hard time it doesn’t mean to give up, it mean to keep trying until you break the record. Sometimes it can be hard and frustrating but you  should never give up no matter what happens.

Monitor Surveillance Technician observe the electrical activity of heartbeats. They examine these patterns and provide the results to physicians and nursing staff.
